Location description

Repubblica, located between the Porta Venezia and Porta Nuova Garibaldi areas, is connected via public transportation with the M3 Metro line and the regional trains. From Republbica Square, Via Victor Pisani leads to the Central Station and towards the center of the Repubblica area is Via Turati, the beginning of the fashion district of Via della Spiga and Via Montenapoleone. The Repubblica area is also only a five minute walk away from Corso Buenos Aires, one of the longest shopping streets in all of Europe. The streets on either side of Corso Buenos Aires, especially in the area of the old Hospital (Lazaretto) of Milan, are truly the heart of the neighborhood with their numerous art galleries, boutiques, bars, restaurants and bistros.
